The false eyelashes are out of fashion now!! There was a time when every most of the Hollywood stars wore false eyelashes. Today most of us rely on mascara to plump up lashes and give our eyes a defined look. However, there are times when you might want the old-fashioned glamour of false eyelashes - such as for a special evening out, or for your wedding. So you'll know how to use them when the times comes, here are some simple instruction.
How to apply False Eyelashes
Gather your supplies: you'll need a pair of tweezers, a pair of false eyelashes, eyelash glue and liquid eyeliner. You can get false eyelashes and eyelash glue in make-up artist boutiques and in some chemist. Make sure your natural eyelashes are clean and free from moisture or oil. With clean tweezers, pick up one strip of false eyelashes and dab a bit of eyelash glue along the inside of the strip's base. Wait 15 to 30 seconds for the glue to dry slightly.
Close your eyes and position the false eyelashes over the top of your own lashes. Press the strip of false eyelashes as close as possible to the roots of your own lashes. Make sure you secure both inner and outer corners of the false lashes against your own lashes. Keep the eyes closed for up to 60 seconds, gently pushing the false eyelashes against your own lashes' roots. To hide the false eyelashes' seam, run a thin line of liquid eyeliner over their base.
Open your eyes and brush on a light coat of mascara on the underside of the upper lashes. This will blend your own and the false lashes, creating a more natural-looking result.
